NSFA Cup
The NSFA Cup was the second-tier world club tournament held concurrently with the Champions League prior to the UICA era. The first NSFA Cup was coupled with the 6th edition of the Champions League. Angel Core Sentinels of Gaian Ascendancy were the first winners of the competition, and they went on to play the first known Super Cup against Champions League winners Yeaddin Owls. National football associations took turns to organize the tournaments.
Due to lost records, it is unclear if NSFA Cup 5 and subsequent editions were actually held. However, the NSFA setup had clearly become defunct by the time of the first Champions' Cup and the subsequent founding of the Globe Cup, which came together under the new organization UICA. The Globe Cup and today's IFCF Challengers Cup can be considered successors to the NSFA Cup.
